Biography
Maranatha! Music, a praise and worship imprint launched in 1971, maintains the Maranatha! Singers as its resident vocal ensemble. Across the following five decades the label issued dozens of in-house productions featuring an array of its own groups, the Singers among them. Output credited to the choir has featured live collaborations with performers such as Terry Clark and Morris Chapman, together with the extended Praise series that opened in 1974 via Praise 1: The Praise Album and closed in 1999 with Praise 20: Who Is Like the Lord. Additional Maranatha projects have encompassed children’s recordings, multiple Christmas titles, and further worship sets that range from acoustic and instrumental works to a cappella presentations.
