Biography
The Martins are a sibling trio specializing in a cappella gospel harmonies, comprising Joyce Martin McCollough, Jonathan Martin, and Judy Martin Hess. Their childhood in impoverished rural Arkansas often found the three rehearsing vocal parts as a unit, which resulted in the 1994 release of their debut recording on Chapel Records. Strong sales of that self-titled effort led Chordant to sign the group, reissue the album, and deliver the follow-up Wherever You Are in 1996. Light of the World, a Christmas collection, appeared the next year, after which the Martins resurfaced in 2000 with Windows.
