Biography
Formed in 1998 by Lex and Peggy de Azevedo, Millennium comprises a forty-voice ensemble assembled chiefly to present Lex’s choral compositions and oratorios. The group first appeared at the 1999 Stadium of Fire in Provo, Utah, delivering de Azevedo’s arrangement of the American Pledge of Allegiance during that program, which also included Gladys Knight and All 4 One. In September 1999 the choir performed Gloria: The Life of Christ live for a video recording that aired on the Odyssey Channel in December 1999.
