Biography
Baltimore punk rockers the Mishaps emerged from the same city that spawned John Waters and his troupe of campy lunatics, yet their music aligned far more closely with the raw early-'80s ferocity of the Los Angeles punk scene. Delivering tracks at a frightening pace while maintaining a knowing perspective on their own chaos, the group produced a style unmatched by nearly any other Maryland act during 2002. Having assembled just twelve months earlier, they wasted no time developing material and embarked on tours alongside the River City Rebels and Worthless United. Scissor Records quickly recognized their approach and issued the band's debut EP, Get Away Volume, during the summer of 2002.
