Biography
The Washington D.C. cult band Circus Lupus counted both Chris Thomson and Chris Hamley among its alumni, and the pair guided Monorchid with additional members Andy Cone, Tom Allnut, and Andy Coronado. Early in 1996 the ensemble arrived with the single "Imposter Costume," then issued several further seven-inch releases before unveiling its debut full-length, Let Them Eat...The Monorchid, at the start of 1997. Monorchid dissolved soon after finishing its second album, 1998’s Who Put Out the Fire?.
