Biography
Upon their emergence in 1997, the Napoleons set out to secure unlimited free beer through live shows while reviving the primal foundations of rock & roll across Belgium. Drawing additional inspiration from Billy Childish and the Sonics, the group—Eric on vocals and guitar, Joke on bass, and Rixk on drums—issued their debut EP, In Sound Shape, in 1998. That same year they followed it with a split 7" alongside Dead Moon on their self-run label.
