Biography
Emerging from the psychedelic guitar-rock outfit Man, the Neutrons issued a pair of mid-'70s albums marked by even greater eccentricity. Phil Ryan and Will Youatt had both belonged to Man's 1972-1973 lineup, yet they departed to launch the Neutrons once Deke Leonard rejoined the earlier group. On the debut album they received support from Help Yourself's Dave Charles, Gentle Giant's John Weathers, and violinist Stuart Gordon.
