The New Wine

Established in 1989 by the Right Reverend David Pytches, New Wine functions as a network of Christian churches based in London. Albums issued under the New Wine name showcase contributions from assorted artists and worship leaders, blending lyrics centered on Christian worship with an assortment of styles such as pop, rock, and funk. The first of its summer conferences occurred that same year, with the earliest New Wine albums drawn from recordings of material performed at those gatherings. The 2016 release Hunger for the Living God: New Wine Live attained the number-seven slot on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart.
