Biography
Jeremy Porter, Jason Bowes, and Mike Popovich—veterans of the Detroit music scene—formed the Offramps in 2002. Their debut album, Hate It When You're Right, arrived in 2006. Drawing on influences from the members’ earlier projects SlugBug, Culture Bandits, Holy Cows, and American Mars, the trio generated local excitement through a hook-laden rock sound. Statewide performances increased during 2007-2008, centered mainly in the Ann Arbor and Detroit regions yet also reaching northern Michigan college towns such as Mt. Pleasant.
