Biography
The Orbits, a collective devoted to rockabilly revival, include Thayne Bradford on fiddle, guitar, and vocals, Vince Corkery on bass, Scott Hughes on drums, Bob Breidenbach handling vocals and lap steel guitar, and Jon Ferber on guitar. The majority of these players have performed as a unit since 1985, allowing the quintet to intersperse self-penned material with interpretations of songs by key influences such as Buddy Holly, Gene Vincent, Duke Ellington, Tennessee Ernie Ford, and Amos Milburn during their concerts. In 1998 the group delivered its studio LP Crazy Beat via the Wildstone Audio label.
