Biography
In spring 1996 the five-piece The Panoply Academy Glee Club assembled in Bloomington, IN, with Nick Quagliara supplying vocals and bass, Marty Sprowles on vocals and guitar, Darin Glenn adding vocals, guitar, and trombone, Bekkah Walker covering vocals, keyboards, and samples, and Ryan Hicks behind the drums. The band issued the single “The Administration” in April 1997; its debut full-length Rah! arrived via Secretly Canadian the following June, and What We Defend followed one year later.
