Biography
Forming a straight-ahead jazz trio called the Pizzarelli Boys, journeyman jazz guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli joins forces with his sons, guitarist John Pizzarelli and bassist Martin Pizzarelli. An active and vital presence on the New York City jazz scene since the '50s, Bucky contrasts with John and Martin, who came into their own during the late '80s and early '90s. The ensemble has issued three albums: 2007's Sunday at Pete's, 2009's Pizzarelli Party issued under the name the Pizzarellis, and 2010's Desert Island Dreamers.
