Biography
The Primms, who originated in England, later relocated to New York City with a modest amount of cash, their instruments, and several pre-recorded tracks in tow. Their opening single, “Do You Know the Future?,” carried a post-punk-influenced sound and first surfaced in England ahead of the band’s stateside move. The group issued its debut EP, A Long Way from Eden, during the summer of 2006, after which Speeches appeared in 2007.
