The Radio Kings

The Radio Kings surfaced as a Boston-rooted pair devoted to conventional blues and sharing an uncanny resemblance to the Fabulous Thunderbirds. Vocalist and harpist Brian Templeton teamed with guitarist Michael Dinallo as the duo's central figures upon forming in 1991. Their first release came on the Icehouse label in 1994 with It Ain't Easy, reflecting a pronounced affinity for the raw approach of masters such as Howlin' Wolf, Little Walter, and Slim Harpo; Live at B.B. King's appeared the following year, and the Radio Kings resurfaced in 1998 via Money Road.
