Biography

The Railsplitters, now headquartered in Los Angeles, California, drew their founding members from disparate regions across the United States. Drummer Jim Austin already resided in L.A., yet bassist Keith Campagnola originated from the New Jersey shoreline, guitarist Neil Delaforce spent his formative years in Hawaii, guitarist Victor Dawahare arrived from Detroit, and vocalist Leif Cole abandoned Seattle. This convergence produced a seventies rock fusion blending metal and blues elements, prompting Acetate Records to issue the band's debut album Ridin' High during 2000.
