Biography
Forming in the early 1960s, the Ramblers Two functioned as a performing duo through the middle of the decade, with Johnny McEvoy supplying vocals and Michael Crotty contributing guitar and vocals. Their collaboration persisted for several years, during which they issued a handful of singles on Pye and performed on television. After the pair disbanded, Crotty went on to accompany numerous folk artists and move through the memberships of various ensembles, among them the Dublin City Ramblers, while McEvoy carried on alone from the late 1960s and remained active in 2009.
