Biography
In the summer of 2003, Long Island, NY outfit the Rescue came together and delivered their melodic hardcore sound, laced with emo tendencies, on the debut EP We Dig Our Own Graves the following year. Following a contract with United Edge Records, the lineup of vocalist Mike Assip, guitarists Joe Meier and Tom Colello, bassist Will Zucconi, and drummer Shane Curry issued the subsequent EP Phone Numbers in 2004.
