Biography
Country-rock outfit the Roadside Graves originated in Metuchen, NJ, when childhood friends singer John Gleason, drummer Colin Ryan, guitarists Rich Zilg and Jeremy Benson, bassist Dave Jones, and Mike DeBlasio assembled the lineup that later added keyboard player Johnny Piatkowski. Their debut album, If Shacking Up Is All You Want to Do, was tracked in 2002 and issued on the band’s own War n Oats imprint. After several seasons of live work, the group secured a contract with Kill Buffalo Records and delivered the EP What Happened to Him Could Happen to You on January 30, 2007. Their second full-length CD, No One Will Know Where You've Been, appeared next on April 3, 2007. Signing with Autumn Tone Records in 2009 led to the June 9 release of the third album My Son's Home. Autumn Tone then reissued If Shacking Up Is All You Want to Do with bonus tracks on February 23, 2010, while the newly recorded EP You Won't Be Happy with Me surfaced on March 23, 2010.
