Biography
In 2000, the blues-rock outfit the Rounders took shape in Oklahoma City, built around vocalist Brian Whitten, guitarists Ryan Taylor and Michael Stone sharing lead duties, percussionist Stu Williamson, and bassist Dave Spindle. Rooted in the earthy traditions of Delta and Chicago blues while adding a trace of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s signature bite, the five-piece delivered their charged album Wish I Had You via Blind Pig Records in 2007, after issuing a pair of earlier independent recordings.
