Biography
Spring 1997 marked the formation of Vancouver indie pop combo the Salteens, assembled by singer/guitarist Scott Walker together with bassist/vocalist Megan Bradfield and drummer Dion Willis. Victory in a local battle of the bands contest arrived after just two live dates, and keyboardist Patrick Brealey’s subsequent arrival enabled the group to secure a deal with hometown label Endearing for the spring 2000 release of debut LP Short-Term Memories. Let Go of Your Bad Days appeared in 2003. The 2010 album Grey Eyes found the Salteens shifting toward ’60s-influenced large-ensemble pop.
