Biography
Although reviewers have labeled Shebrews a nostalgic pop ensemble as well as a Minneapolis supergroup, Stephanie Winter and John Crozier instead regard the project as a discrete band inspired by '60s mod. Assembled from alumni of the Legendary Jim Ruiz Group, Ninian Hawick, Ninotchka, and the Hang Ups, Grimsey Records issued the debut full-length Leave All Your Old Loves in 1995. Their sophomore album Off With Their Hearts appeared six years afterward.
