Biography
A rhythm-and-blues outfit assembled toward the close of 1963 and pursued a direction closely modeled on the Rolling Stones. The group landed a contract with Pye Records that yielded three singles, among them their 1964 interpretation of “I Got My Mojo Working” and the Milt Jackson piece “Bag’s Groove,” which appeared in 1965. Their most memorable chapter may have come when they accompanied Memphis Slim on his 1964 British tour.
