Biography
The Skalars, a third-wave ska outfit headquartered in St. Louis, once operated under the leadership of Isaac Green, whose name appeared apart from the band’s own in promotional billing, before he stepped away from the stage to assume managerial duties. Co-lead vocalists Jessica Butler and Evan Shaw then moved to the forefront. The group made its recorded entrance on the Moon Ska label via Skoolin’ With the Skalars, after which Change Up appeared in 1999.
