Biography
Formed in the closing years of the 2000s, the UK-based Steers—James, Sid, Ben, and Kris—quickly drew notice for echoes of Interpol, Editors, and Franz Ferdinand. Their debut single, Rewind/Repeat, surfaced on the Kids label in September 2007. A string of mid- to high-profile shows across the British Isles soon followed, leading to the release of their second single, “Julia,” in early 2008.
