Biography
The Sunny Street came together in London as a jangly indie pop outfit whose wistful melodies evoked the Field Mice and the Trembling Blue Stars. The project began when Electrophonvintage frontman Remi Parson teamed up with vocalist Delphine. Starting in 2006, the pair put out several singles on different labels, among them They Hurt You Everyday on Lavender Recordings, a split 7" issued as part of Slumberland's Searching for the Now series whose flip side showcased A Sunny Day in Glasgow, and a self-titled single on Cloudberry Records.
