Biography
Hailing from Arcadia, California, the Syrups operate as a rock quartet. The group surfaced in the music world near the start of the 2000s yet channels its primary sonic direction from the 1960s, most notably the Beatles. Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick responded to the Syrups’ approach with sufficient enthusiasm to abandon retirement and serve as producer and engineer on the band’s first full-length album, The Syrups, which appeared on Beck records.
