Biography
Sporting attire in the vein of Don Ho along with an instrumental lounge-surf eccentricity, The Tiki Tones always appeared clad in Hawaiian button-up shirts. Their lineup featured Koro on drums, Ku handling bass, Lono on guitar, and Lord Wahini at the organ when Doctor Dream Records released the debut full-length Idol Pleasures in 1996. After several singles and compilation tracks emerged on assorted labels, the second album Play Songs For The...Suburban Savages arrived on Dionysus Records in 1997, with The Leisure Experiment following during spring 2000.
