Biography
Jaime d'Almeida, a multi-instrumentalist from Boston, created the Timbre Project as a one-man band after wandering the East Coast and returning to his birthplace to launch the endeavor in 2000. The outfit's debut, Free Souvenirs, reflected his taste for intimate bedroom anthems and Beatles-esque power pop. Ice Cream Headache Records then released the alternative rock-oriented follow-up Ruining Perfectly Good Songs two years later.
