Biography
Hailing from San Francisco, the alternative rock threesome the Trophy Fire weave tuneful, catch-driven narratives about existence, romance, and heartbreak. These draw inspiration from the vocal-harmony-rich, electro-keyboard pop that defined the mid- to late '80s along with the expansive stadium rock that emerged in the early aughts. The group coalesced in the late 2000s around Ben Flanagan and brothers Adam and John Schuman, issuing their first album, A Lifetime in the Middle of the Ocean, in 2008 via Talking House Records before delivering Armor in 2011 on Greyday Records.
