Biography
Formed in Toronto, the dance-pop outfit Untamed features vocalists Daniella Watters, born in 1987, along with her sibling Alithea Watters, born in 1983, Shir Elimeleh, born in 1983, and Chandra Muszka, born in 1984. Each member contributes her distinct background from appearances in film, television, and theatre to this project. No label agreement had been secured by the end of 2000, despite having completed recordings of four tracks. Chandra Muszka departed in early 2001, after which Shir Elimeleh was succeeded several months subsequently by the eighteen-year-old Kim Moffit. At that point the ensemble commenced work on its first album, coinciding with radio exposure for the track "Going, Going, Gone" across Canadian stations.
