Biography
Originating in an episode of The Andy Griffith Show, the name The Van Delecki's identifies a side project pairing SpongeTones' Jamie Hoover with Let's Get Mikey's Bryan Shumate. The duo issued Letters from the Desk of Count S.Van Delecki on Permanent Press in 1996, drawing support from fellow Spongetones Steve Stoeckel and Pat Walters together with longtime friend Don Dixon. The Van Delecki's followed up in the fall of 1999 by releasing Ebum Shoobum Shoobum.
