Biography
The Whitmore Sisters feature steadfast roots music singers, songwriters, and instrumentalists Eleanor and Bonnie Whitmore, who fuse Americana, power pop, country, folk, and rock through incisive songwriting and luminous harmonies shared by the siblings. The pair came together in 2021 already rich in experience, given that Eleanor makes up half of the alternative country band the Mastersons with her husband Chris Masterson, Bonnie has issued four solo albums that earned strong notices, and both musicians also perform with Steve Earle's group the Dukes. Their first outing under the Whitmore Sisters name arrived in 2022 as the suitably titled Ghost Stories, shaped by the sisters' direct encounters with loss and mortality.
