Biography
Originating in New Orleans, the Mardi Gras ceremonial parade ensemble The Wild Tchoupitoulas operates as a “Black Indian tribe,” with its ranks filled by Spy Boy Amos Landry, Trail Chief Booker Washington, Big Chief Jolly George Landry, Flag Boy Carl Christmas, Third Chief Thomas Jackson, and Second Chief Norman Bell. George Landry serves as uncle to the Neville Brothers. Their sole album carries the title The Wild Tchoupitoulas.
