Biography
Emerging in 2007 from the remnants of Froid, the Swedish outfit whose lineup included Rickard Olsen on vocals and guitar, Jonas Westholm on bass, and Marcus van Boisman on drums, the Windupdeads assembled their new project. Guitarist Peter Ingman joined the three musicians to shape an alternative pop/rock sound, and the group took formal shape that summer. The balance of 2007 went into laying down the debut album, which gained early notice when “Reverse of Shade” surfaced in a Gossip Girl episode in 2008. Their full-length record arrived the following October.
