Biography
Hailing from Newark, New Jersey, R&B vocalist TheARTI$T places raw vulnerability and direct honesty at the center of her work, building bonds with audiences through open personal narratives.
Her path began with a deep interest in basketball that gradually shifted toward painting, fashion, and modeling before she turned to music. Inspired by Brent Faiyaz and Summer Walker, she entered the studio in 2018 after friends urged her to record upon hearing her sing. Those first sessions led to her debut EP, Arti$t: Take One, released in 2020. In the time since, she concentrated on distributing her material through social media, where many tracks achieved viral reach. Capitalizing on that growing traction, she issued The ARTChives EP in 2023, then delivered the expanded full-length project ARTChives: The Gallery the next year.
