Biography
From an early age, Brazilian pop singer Thereza Tinoco began her musical path with piano instruction and went on to create and perform original material throughout her teenage years. Entry into multiple competitions and events throughout her hometown of Rio de Janeiro brought her into contact with established vocalist Simone, who responded favorably to the newcomer and endorsed her inherent abilities. In time, veteran performer Marlene interpreted Tinoco’s composition “Ribalta.” The songwriter soon rose to a leading role within the city’s pop circuit.
