Biography
Thomas Jefferson Kaye, now deceased, earned his living as a musician, songwriter, and producer, shaping numerous enduring pop releases such as "? and the Mysterians'" "96 Tears," the Shirelles' "Soldier Boy," and Loudon Wainwright III's "Dead Skunk," among others. His initial solo outing, issued under his own name, appeared in 1973 and was followed the next year by First Grade. The final album he completed took the form of a multi-artist project titled Not Alone.
