Under the guidance of Caspar McCloud, who serves as frontman along with his roles as artist, singer, songwriter, and guitarist, the band Three formed and delivered their debut musical project during 1998. Based in Marietta, GA, the trio maintains unity through a shared commitment to love and service while conveying the Christian message via their abilities and songs. Characterized by spontaneity, drive, passion, and energy, their sound blends heartfelt testimonies expressed in lyrics with British-style power rock. McCloud handles lead vocals and guitar, joined by Keith Hazelrigs on drums and Andy Williams on bass; together they produced their initial album, In Our Lifetime, issued in 1998 by the Woodstock, GA-based imprint Big House. Drawing creative force from their faith and trust in God, the sessions yielded an impressive collection of tracks designed to refresh and energize audiences with uplifting power. The second cut, “Faithfulness,” offered themes of life and peace to listeners who hold their beliefs with sincerity and honesty. McCloud’s technical skill and captivating guitar solos anchor the album while elevating the ensemble overall. Whether through energetic, hard-rocking numbers featuring memorable lyrical hooks or McCloud’s gentler acoustic ballads, Three gained recognition among Christians in the Marietta region as well as listeners from varied faiths. During the following three years of performances at venues including Jehova Java, their distinctive sound and message became fixtures in the local Marietta music scene. After Stephen Delli joined on bass, the group prepared material for their follow-up album, Soul Saved. Issued in winter 2001 on the Hip and Groovy label, the new recordings established a firm base for continued progress. Soul Saved succeeded by consistently supplying vigorous guitar virtuosity, steaming percussion, and feverish bass lines. The approach remains direct—concise yet meaningful positive lyrics paired with heavy, inspiring power rock intended to motivate successive generations. Their goal of creating music capable of elevating the mind and heart after every hearing has been fulfilled with distinction. The second effort demonstrates steady advancement across multiple areas alongside an eagerness to expand artistic range. Three holds the capacity to craft dreamy, reflective, uplifting, prophetic music.
