Biography
Tierra de Nadie, a Latin rock quartet originating in Panama, took shape in 1989. The ensemble put out its inaugural EP, Salto Al Vacío, in 1991. A contract with Sony Music followed, leading to the 1992 sessions for Grito En La Tierra overseen by Alvaro Aguilar of Alex Nahual. After departing Sony Music, the group aligned with the domestic Kiwi Records label and delivered Deja Vu together with Alter Ego in 1997. A short-lived split prompted personnel shifts that brought West Valdés in on drums to succeed Roberto Varela and Octavio Díaz on bass to succeed Juary de la Togna.
