For many years this vocalist and composer belonged to the Brambells together with his sibling Lou. Although the ensemble garnered moderate attention from both campus and commercial stations, Tim Anthony chose in the mid-'90s to issue a record on his own. Drawing from sources that included the Raspberries, the Beatles, and Buddy Holly, he functioned as a "one-man band" throughout the debut album Things That Once Were. The performer further collected multiple honors along with several nominations in recognition of his songwriting approach. Once the album appeared, Anthony shifted his focus back to the Brambells, which had since become known as the Brambles. That ensemble produced a pair of albums and announced intentions for a third during 2002. He still appears live across the United States and Europe.
