Biography
Folk-rocker Tim Moyer took up drums at seven and soon joined his father’s jazz ensemble for occasional gigs. By sixteen he had switched to guitar and begun writing original material, which fueled extensive performances across his native Southern California both alone on acoustic guitar and alongside guitarist Matthew Van Doran, bassist Rocco Presutti, and drummer Jorgen Ingmar, steadily building a dedicated audience ahead of the 1999 release of his debut LP Out of the Blue.
