Tim Renwick first began playing guitar in 1966 at seventeen years of age. Various groups marked the outset of his musical journey, among them Quiver, for whom a couple of albums were released. Over time, he associated with Gary Brooker for the recording of two albums. It was in 1977 that he became a member of Procol Harum. His role as a session musician has connected him with countless major artists for recording, touring, or both activities throughout his career. David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Andy Gibb, Mike Oldfield, Mike and the Mechanics, Paul Carrack, Claire Hamill, Joe Cocker, Nick Heyward, Dionne Warwick, Al Stewart, and even Kenny Rogers number among these individuals.
