Biography
Originating from Suffern, the New York pop-punk quartet Timeshares came together toward the end of 2009. Their sound blended freewheeling aggression drawn equally from alt-country and classic pop-punk acts. The group's initial release came via a 2010 split 7" shared with Captain, which they followed the next year by issuing their debut full-length Bearable through Kiss of Death Records. Additional split singles appeared in 2012 and 2014 as the band maintained an active recording and touring schedule across the United States, eventually leading to a contract with Side One Dummy at the start of 2015. Drawing inspiration from the Replacements, Lucero, and Superchunk, Timeshares put out Already Dead—their second LP—in April 2015 before heading out on a European tour.
