Tin Man

Known professionally as Tin Man, Johannes Auvinen is an electronic music DJ and producer born in California and currently based in Austria. While attending college he first explored music production, later shaping a distinctive approach drawn from the Chicago and U.K. electronic scenes along with classic instruments such as the Roland 303. During the 2010s he established himself at the forefront of the neo-acid movement, blending house, techno, and additional styles across tracks that range from functional dancefloor material to neo-classical and ambient compositions. In addition to appearing at clubs and festivals worldwide, he has issued albums through imprints including Places, Acid Acid, Keys of Life, Love Sex Acid, Dripping Acid, Perfume, Scared, and Vienna Blue. His seventh studio album, Arles, came out in 2023 via Bureau B.
