Originating from Mamelodi in Pretoria, Thato Seth Mathobela launched his career as a teenager under the name TitoMusic before shortening it to TitoM. Early productions drew from the local Bacardi house sound, yet by the second half of the 2010s he had redirected his efforts toward amapiano. In that period he supplied tracks for Mellow & Sleazy and Nimrod Pitso while frequently teaming with SjavasDaDeejay; their joint single “Give Me Your Time” marked one of his first notable releases. He also co-produced the Jessica EP for Kota Embassy founder Nimrod Pitso and contributed several cuts to Mellow & Sleazy projects, among them the hits “Thesha” and “Imnandi lento.”

By late 2023 TitoM began issuing his own material at a rapid pace. “Woza La” appeared first, followed in early 2024 by “Aklaleki” with SjavasDaDeejay and Lington, the track “Mina,” and the viral breakout “Tshwala Bam” featuring S.N.E. and EeQue. As a South African producer and DJ, TitoM blends amapiano with Bacardi house, quantum sound, and additional regional dance elements.
