Biography
Laurie Ann Haus, who had previously performed with Autumn Tears, Nest, and Garden of Shadows, formed and continues to lead Todesbonden. The ensemble centers on metal while incorporating classical, new age, world, and Celtic elements that yield an expansive, richly textured, and imaginative sound comparable to Nightwish. After the roster grew in 2003 to include Jason Aaron Wood alongside Haus, the project issued its debut EP, Stormbringer, in 2004. The lineup expanded again the following year with the arrival of Jamie Lamb and Jason Ian-Vaughn Eckert. These four musicians then concentrated on completing Todesbonden’s first full-length album, Sleep Now, Quiet Forest. Following a recording stint at the well-known Fascination Street Studios, Prophecy Productions released the album in 2008.
