Toko Furuuchi

Since emerging in the early 1990s, Japanese pop artist Toko Furuuchi has maintained strong popularity as a female vocalist. Releases including the 1993 albums Slow Down and Distance, followed by 1994's Hug, helped broaden her audience across Asia. Strength, issued in 1995, became the biggest commercial success of her catalog, after which she delivered Hourglass in 1996 and then the compilation Toko: Best Selection.
