From the American heartland in Omaha, Nebraska, Tom May presents River City Folk, which American Public Radio syndicates to well over 200 stations. Americana Cable carries the television edition of the program, recognized as this country's only televised folk music series. May embodies the classic balladeer, rendering both his original material and songs by others with warmth, humor, and accessibility. He has shared bills with most of North America's leading folk performers and has toured internationally, with appearances ranging from Ireland to Hawaii and from Alaska to the Caribbean islands. Tom further demonstrates mastery on guitar and Irish pennywhistle.
