Biography
Known as the folk-rock counterpart to The Human League, Glaswegian brothers Pete Livingstone (vocals, keyboard, fiddle) and Gavin Livingstone (vocals, keyboard, mandolin, banjo, guitar) joined forces with Mike Doyle (vocals, guitar, keyboard) to generate intense Scottish music via sequencers and relays. Pete’s pronounced burr suited their rousing, patriotic style exactly, enabling a seamless fusion of synthesizers and acoustic folk instruments. Their only album received a 2001 reissue on the Celtic Music label.
