Biography
Hailing from Montclair, New Jersey, where he was born in 1993, Topaz Jones now works as a hip-hop artist based in the state. Rapid flows join the oozing beats of trap music in his sound, accented by touches of laid-back '70s funk. His musician father supplied an early introduction to funk, while his mother—a doctor and Harvard scholar—shaped his grasp of social justice. The Honeymoon Suite served as his debut album in 2014, and Arcade followed in 2016.
